For Gardens’ second full-length album, the band wanted to refine their visual identity with a more conceptual artwork that could be extended to a number of media. Beginning with the band’s logo and typographic standards, we built the “Maricopa” campaign on inspiration from past experiences in the southwest, changing relationships, and old polaroids from tour.
From concept to completion, my role was to rebrand and produce artwork for all visuals — single artwork and video for singles “Violent light” and “Dim”, Maricopa disc and cassette artwork, lyric booklets, Bandcamp page, Facebook page, and official e-commerce website.
